Cranial osteopathy is one of the most gentle approaches to osteopathy and can be applied everywhere and anywhere in the body. All consultations involve osteopathic and clinical screening, paediatric testing – and onward referral to paediatric specialists if indicated.
Cranial Osteopathy, is a non-invasive gentle method of treatment and diagnosis where a gentle yet specific pressure is applied to the cranium, sacrum and other areas of the body. This can be useful in Osteopathic diagnostics and also in helping to relieve stress and strain patterns that may be causing pain or discomfort to the baby. These techniques may be used in conjunction with other gentle non invasive osteopathic techniques.

Cranial osteopathy is widely known for the treatment of babies but is equally effective for children, adults and the elderly.
Cranial Osteopathy
Mummy MOTÂ
A woman's body undergoes profound structural changes when pregnant and giving birth. Osteopathy can help realign joints and muscles to ease discomfort.

Most suitable from the 13th week of pregnancy, but it is recommended that patients gain advice from their consultant or midwife first. The safety of you and your baby are paramount, along with your comfort during treatment.

Hormonal and postural changes continue after birth with the body having to re-adapt when reversing back to your original size while at the same time ligament loosening hormones will still be present for up to 6 months. Alongside this, nursing and carrying your child will create the potential for back issues to persist.
Gentle and non-invasive techniques are chosen specifically with consideration to the needs of the individual.
